Have you ever stopped halfway through a painting and thought, I don’t think I can go any further; it’s just not working? This is a very common occurrence I’ve encountered with my students. There’s often a fear of moving forward and making it worse. However, that fear is exactly what you need to overcome in order to push through to the next level of skill and confidence as a painter.
Most of the time, when I push through this challenging stage, I’m rewarded not only with a satisfying outcome but also with a new set of skills and a deeper understanding of my materials, how they work and how to fix areas that seemed beyond repair.
Discover how I navigate these struggles in my eBook and video Painting Children with Confidence.
